FIRS Evolves Into World Skate to Support Road to Olympics
The International Roller Sports Federation (FIRS) and
the International Skateboarding Federation merged in 2017 to
form an all-new international federation known as World Skate.

World Skate Information Junior Category
World Skate will consider junior those athletes that are
under 19 years of age by 31st December of the year of
competition. This change will be effective
starting from January 1, 2018.

World Cup and European Championships in Villablino
Inline Alpine:
The European championships in slalom and parallel-slalom 2017
in all categories, and the fourth Worldcup took place
in Villablino (ESP). The organising club Leita arranged
an amazing race weekend. The weather was nice,
perfect conditions for an event. The race track is
located in the middle of the city. It is a long track
with a light curve in the middle, and a slight slope.

The 2017 Sportaccord edition will be a milestone for FIRS:
