CLOSURE:
It was announced in 2019 or 2020 that the Finlandia Ice Skating Rink and Cafeteria would be closing after 45 years in business, due to the rink's cooling system and pipes being obsolete and no longer safe after 45 years wear and tear. Repairs would be prohibitively expense because the building itself would need to be redesigned and upgraded with better insulation and a modern cooling system. the fact that the ice rink could no longer be restarted and the need for space for sports and relaxation could only result in a new project. The hall with its high dimensions was perfectly suited for it: Jumpsquare, an XXL Indoor Trampoline Park. Finlandia is entering a new era with its Glow Golf, Prison Island, ax throwing and Jumpsquare!
