Denmark's First Bandy Federation

Denmarks first governing body for bandy was established in 1909 as the Danish Bandy Union (Dansk Bandy Union). That organization sent a team to the Nordic Games Bandy Tournament in 1917 where they finished fourth among six participating teams. The DBU did not send a bandy team to the 2022 Nordic Games because interest in bandy had declined significantly by then and the organization ceased operating around 1924.
