Christchurch Amateur Roller Sports Club (CARSC)
This roller skating was originally formed in 1959 for artistic, hockey, and speed skaters. Club members raised money for the Garvins Road Banked Track in January of 1969. The club has evolved into primarily a speed skating club.

Mount Wellington Rollersports Club
This club was formed in 1961 for speed roller skaters, artistic roller skaters, and roller hocke players. The Mount Wellington Speed Team is coached by Bill Begg.
