Organization established i 1991 to support the growth of two-year and four-year collegiate hockey programs in the United States.

American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA)
Professional organization for ice hockey coaches that was founded by a group of ice hockey coaches in 1947. Today its membership includes every level os ice hockey coaches from youth hockey coaches to professional hockey coaches.

American Collegiate Hockey Association (1986–89)
Former ice hockey conference that disbanded after three seasons because it did ot meet the minimum number of members required to be recognized by the NCAA.
